Questions
Is there a roll builder?
No. Each set or piece is an item, with variants for a size you already sell and modifiers for the extras you charge for.
Can customers request a collection time?
Yes. You set the lead time and how many days ahead they can book. The lead time is for the location. There is no per-time cap.
What if a fish sells out?
Mark that item sold out. Checkout stops selling it. There is no switch to hide the rest of the category.
What does a sushi restaurant pay?
£39 a month per location billed annually (£49 if billed monthly), excluding VAT, with your own domain, your own branded app (Android & iOS) and everything else included. No commission on a direct order and no setup fee.
More detail
Sets and pieces as items, extras as modifiers. No roll builder. Requested collection times and 0% commission ever.
Sets
One item, with what is in it written by you.
Extras
Modifiers with the price you charge. A group can be required.
Lead time
How much notice a collection or a delivery needs, for the location.
Sold out
Mark a finished dish sold out. A modifier has no sold-out switch.
A sushi order fails when the ticket does not say which set, which pieces, or which extra the customer added. Nigiri, maki, sets and sides are items with prices. A set is one item, with what is in it written in the name or the description you are willing to stand behind. Extras, such as extra ginger, an added piece or a different sauce, are modifiers with the price you charge. Mark a group required when the customer has to choose, and set a maximum when they can add more than one.
There is no sushi-builder that draws a roll for you. The menu is the board you already sell. Variants cover a size or a piece-count that changes the price. If you do not sell a half portion, do not add one and hope the pass will work it out. Allergens for fish, sesame and gluten are yours to write on the dish. The software does not generate them.
Fish sells through. Mark the finished item sold out so checkout stops taking payment for it. There is no switch to hide a whole category, such as every nigiri, while leaving the sets up. Mark the finished dishes. Deleting a category deletes its dishes, so use that only when the heading is going for good. A lead time stops a customer booking a collection sooner than you can make it. The same lead time applies across the location. Say on the item if a platter needs longer than that, and handle those the way you already do.
Collection is the main job for a lot of sushi kitchens. Customers request a time. You set the lead time and how many days ahead they can book. There is no grid of slots and no cap on orders per time. Pause ordering if the pass falls behind. Delivery, if you do it, is the area you can serve while the food is still right to eat. A long drive is a cold tray. Put a fee and a minimum on each zone and show them before payment. Switch delivery off to leave the page as collection. Remove a zone to drop one area. There is no pause button on a single zone.
Hours can differ for collection and delivery. A day you are closed, including a holiday, is a special day on the calendar: closed, or open between different times. The page then refuses orders for the hours you are shut. The tablet needs to be heard over the counter, on charge. It rings until accept or reject.
The price is £39 a month per location billed annually (£49 if billed monthly), excluding VAT, with your own domain, your own branded app (Android & iOS) and everything else included. No commission on the order and no setup fee. The photograph on this page is sushi on a plate. It is not your pass. Use your own photos on the menu when you have them.
GloriaFood retires on 30 April 2027. Send the sets, the piece prices, the extras and the streets. Test one set with a modifier, one address you cover, one you do not, and one item marked sold out before you change the public link.
A UK sushi counter is often collection first, because the food does not travel well. Keep the zones tight if you deliver at all: a drawn area, a radius or postcodes, each with a fee, a minimum and a time, shown before payment. Take a zone off the saved list to stop it. There is no switch that pauses one zone and leaves the others on. You can turn delivery off and leave collection on. Sets, nigiri and sides stay as items. A piece count that changes the price is a size option. Extra ginger or an added piece is a modifier. There is no roll builder. Allergen notes for fish, sesame and gluten are yours to write. £39 a month per location billed annually (£49 if billed monthly), excluding VAT, with your own domain, your own branded app (Android & iOS) and everything else included. The tablet rings until accept or reject. If the current button is GloriaFood, that product retires on 30 April 2027, and the menu move is included. Test one set with a modifier, one address you cover, one you do not, and one item marked sold out before you change the public link.
