A Thai menu is long because the kitchen cooks a long menu: starters, soups, salads, curries, stir-fries, noodles, rice and sides. Regulars know the dish by name. They do not want it renamed. Chefzi lets the categories follow that list. The customer searches or jumps between headings on a phone. The ticket names the dish and the choices you actually offer. The app rings until the kitchen accepts or rejects.

Heat, rice and noodles are the choices that change the plate. If mild, medium and hot are real options, put them in a modifier group and mark it required when you will not cook the dish without an answer. If the heat is fixed by the recipe, do not add a control that implies you will change it. Jasmine rice, coconut rice, egg noodles or rice noodles are modifiers with the prices you already charge. A set meal is one item, with the included dishes named, and a swap is a modifier. There is no separate set-meal builder.

If the paper menu uses numbers, put the number in the dish name, the way it is printed. There is no separate number field. Search looks at the name and the description, so a number in the name is how a regular finds “12”. Allergen information is yours to write. The page shows the note you provide. It does not invent one.

When a special or a curry finishes, mark that dish sold out. There is no switch to hide a whole category for the night. Mark the finished dishes and leave the rest up. Collection and delivery can have different hours, which matters when the driver has finished and the restaurant is still seating or still doing collection. A bank holiday is a date you mark closed, or with shorter hours, rather than a note on the door that the website never heard about.

Draw delivery around the streets you already cover. A river or a main road is a reason to draw the shape, or to list postcodes, instead of a circle that includes a district you will not drive. Each zone has a fee, a minimum and a time. Show them before payment. Switch delivery off if the night is collection only. Remove a zone to stop one area. Chefzi does not provide the driver.

The first three months are free, then £19 a month for cash or no-card payments, or £29 a month with online card payments through Stripe per location, excluding VAT, with no commission on a direct order and no setup fee. Card fees stay with your payment provider. The photograph on this page is a bowl of curry and rice. It is not your restaurant. Photos of your own food can go on the menu. An item can go live with no photo.

If the current button is GloriaFood, it retires on 30 April 2027. A long menu should move while the old link still loads. Send the categories, the prices, the heats and the streets. We rebuild from what you sent. Place a test order with a required choice, one address inside the area, one outside it, and one dish marked sold out. Then change the website, Google and the QR codes.

Thai restaurants in the UK often run a dining room and a takeaway from the same pass. The ordering page does not have to pretend they are the same service. Collection hours and delivery hours are separate, so the driver can finish while the restaurant is still seating. A holiday is one special day: closed, or one opening window that covers both services. Weekly hours can still differ. Spice, where you offer it, is a modifier group that can be required and can allow one choice or several. Rice and noodles are the same pattern, at the prices you already charge. A set meal is one item with the included dishes named. There is no separate set-meal builder. When a curry finishes, mark that dish sold out. There is no switch to hide the curry category for the night. The fee is three months free, then £19 a month for cash or no-card payments, or £29 a month with online card payments through Stripe per location, excluding VAT, with no commission on a direct order. Card processing stays with your payment provider. Put one link on Google, the window and your own packaging.

The monthly fee is also on pricing. Zones are on delivery zones. Published marketplace rates go in the commission calculator, which is a projection from those rates and the numbers you type.

Thai restaurants

Questions from thai restaurants.

Can the menu keep printed dish numbers?

Yes. Put the number in the dish name. There is no separate number field. Search matches the name and the description.

How do heat and rice work?

They are modifiers when you offer them. A group can be required, and it can allow one choice or several. If the recipe has a fixed heat, leave the group off.

What does a Thai restaurant pay?

Three months free, then £19 a month for cash or no-card payments, or £29 a month with online card payments through Stripe per location, excluding VAT. No setup fee and no commission on a direct order.

Can we close for a holiday?

Yes. Mark that date closed, or give it different hours. The page uses that day instead of the usual weekly hours.
