Online ordering for chicken shops

A chicken shop menu is short and it moves fast: portions, a heat if you offer one, sides, and a drink. The failure is a ticket that says “hot” in a note the pass does not read, or a payment for wings you no longer have. Chefzi puts those choices on the item. The kitchen app rings until someone accepts with a prep time or rejects with a reason.

A two-piece, a three-piece and a bucket are variants, each with the price on the board tonight. Wings by number can be the same pattern. Heat, if you really offer it, is a modifier group. Mark it required when every chicken order needs a heat, and list only the heats you cook. A group can allow one choice or several. A side that changes the price, such as corn or a sauce, is its own modifier, not a sentence under the basket. If you do not do heat levels, do not add a control that implies you will.

Meal deals follow the board. Name what is in the box. A swap is a modifier. Sold out applies to a dish. When a chicken item finishes, mark it sold out. A heat or a sauce that exists only as a modifier has no sold-out switch. Take that choice off the group until you add it back. There is no switch to hide the category. Deleting the category removes the dishes.

Friday timing is the prep time you set when you accept, plus the lead time before the collection or delivery time the customer requests. There is no cap on how many orders share a time. Lengthen the prep time, or pause ordering, when the fryers are behind. Collection hours and delivery hours can differ, so the driver can finish while the counter stays open. A holiday is a special day: closed, or open with different hours. The page then stops promising that date.

Delivery zones are the streets you already cover. Each zone has a fee, a minimum and a time, shown before the customer pays. You can switch all delivery off and leave collection on. Removing a zone takes that area off. There is no control that disables one zone while the others stay. Chefzi does not send a courier. Plenty of chicken shops are collection only.

The fee is three months free, then £19 a month for cash or no-card payments, or £29 a month with online card payments through Stripe per location, excluding VAT. No commission on the order and no setup fee. Card processing stays with your payment provider. Keep a marketplace if it still brings people who have never walked in. Put one direct link on Google, the window and your own packaging. Do not put that code on a Just Eat bag. A price on that page has to respect a marketplace price-parity clause where one applies.

GloriaFood retires on 30 April 2027. Send the portions, the heats, the sides and the streets while the old link still loads. The move is included. Test a required heat, an address you deliver to, an address you do not, and an item marked sold out. Accept one test so you have heard the app over the fryer.

Sit the tablet where the fryer can hear it, on charge, Android 8 or newer. If it drops offline, the dashboard shows a warning. Text and a phone call go out only when the messaging account is connected. Ordering stays open until you pause it. The link belongs on Google, the window and your own packaging. Do not put a direct-order code on a Just Eat bag. Just Eat’s price promise means a discount, a delivery charge or a minimum on your own page must not be more favourable than on Just Eat, unless you have agreed otherwise.
