A burger order is a stack of choices that have to land on the ticket in the order the pass already uses: the burger, the size if you sell more than one, the extras that change the price, and the meal if there is one. A note that says “the usual” is how a loud Friday gets the wrong sauce in the box. Chefzi is the ordering page and the kitchen app. The customer builds the order on a phone. The app rings until someone accepts with a prep time or rejects with a reason.
Sizes are variants on the item, each with its own price. A single and a double are not the same line with a comment beside it. Cheese, bacon, a sauce and an extra patty are modifiers. Mark a group required when the customer has to pick, such as the sauce you always ask about at the counter. Set the group so they can pick more than one when that is how you sell toppings, and cap it at the number you will actually make. The ticket names each choice. If you do not charge for a sauce, the modifier can be zero and it still shows on the bag.
A meal is one item when that is how the board sells it. Name the burger, the side and the drink. A swap, such as a different drink, is a modifier with the extra you already charge or with a price of zero. Say on the item if the meal is collection only, so a delivery order cannot add it by accident. A code can be a percentage off, an amount off, free delivery, a free item or a buy-one-get-one. Where a marketplace’s terms require your own prices to be no less favourable, read that clause before you publish a code. Just Eat calls this the Your Price Promise. Turn the code off in the dashboard when the offer ends.
Patties and buns run out at different times. Mark the finished item sold out so the next person cannot pay for it. There is no switch to hide a whole category. Mark the finished burgers and leave fries, drinks and the rest of the board up. Deleting a category removes the dishes in it, which is for a heading you are dropping, not for one night. Accepting an order asks for a prep time. Lengthen it when the grill is behind. The customer sees that time before they pay.
Collection and delivery are different hours if you want them to be. A lot of shops stop the driver before they stop the counter. Set those hours separately. Closing time is the cut-off. There is no separate cut-off before you close. You can switch delivery off for the night and leave collection on. To stop one area, remove that zone. There is no switch that pauses a single zone and leaves the others running. Each zone you keep can have its own fee, minimum and time, shown before payment. Draw the streets you already drive. Chefzi does not supply a driver. Collection only is a complete setup.
Pre-order is a lead time and a horizon you set for the location. Someone can request a collection time ahead, within those limits, including for a day you are open. There is no cap on how many orders share a time. A closure for a holiday is a date you mark closed, or with different hours, so the page does not take an order for a day the grill is off. The first three months are free, then £19 a month for cash or no-card payments, or £29 a month with online card payments through Stripe per location, excluding VAT, with no commission on the order and no setup fee. Card processing stays with your payment provider.
The tablet sits where the pass can hear it, on charge, with the volume up. Android 8 or newer. If it drops offline, the dashboard shows a warning, and text then a phone call go out when the messaging account is connected. Ordering stays open until you pause it. If the current button is GloriaFood, that product retires on 30 April 2027. The menu move is included. Send the board, the extras and the streets. Then test one burger with a required choice, one address inside the area, one outside it, and one item marked sold out.
The monthly fee is also on pricing. Zones are on delivery zones. Published marketplace rates go in the commission calculator, which is a projection from those rates and the numbers you type.

Questions from burger restaurants.
Can extras be required?
Yes. A modifier group can be required, and you set the minimum and maximum number of choices. The customer cannot pay until a required group is filled in.
Is there a separate meal-deal builder?
No. Sell the meal as one item and put swaps on it as modifiers. A code can be a percentage, an amount, free delivery, a free item or a buy-one-get-one.
What does a burger shop pay?
Three months free, then £19 a month for cash or no-card payments, or £29 a month with online card payments through Stripe per location, excluding VAT. No setup fee and no commission on a direct order. Card processing is charged by your payment provider.
What if a patty sells out?
Mark that burger sold out. The page stops selling it. A modifier, such as one sauce, has no sold-out switch. Take it off the group. There is no switch to hide a whole category.
