OrderYOYO pricing in the UK (checked 20 October 2026)
By Arslan Munir
Disclosure: Chefzi, a competing ordering product, wrote this guide. OrderYOYO doesn't publish a price list on its sales pages. The figures below come from documents OrderYOYO hosts on orderyoyo.com: two versions of its UK fee-change notice for April 2025, a UK customer service-fee notice, its product page, and its UK terms and conditions (a PDF uploaded in April 2023). We read them on 20 October 2026. The UK site, orderyoyo.uk, blocked our automated check, and the homepage text we could read showed no prices. Your own contract sets your actual rates. Chefzi isn't affiliated with OrderYOYO.
OrderYOYO's published rates
OrderYOYO's published rates, checked 20 October 2026. The notice says it calculates commission on website and app orders each week, and that "the more revenue you generate through your website and app, the lower your commission rate". The levels in the UK notice:
| Level | Weekly website and app turnover | Commission (version A) | Commission (version C) | "Google Profile Commission" (A / C) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | £0 – £499 | 10.5% | 11% | 9.5% / 10% |
| 2 | £500 – £1,499 | 9.5% | 10% | 8.5% / 9% |
| 3 | £1,500 – £2,199 | 8% | 8% | 7% |
| 4 | £2,200+ | 7% | 7% | 6% |
From OrderYOYO's "Changes to your OrderYOYO Partnership Fees" notice, effective Monday 7 April 2025, in two versions on orderyoyo.com. Version A also says "Commission rates in levels 1 and 2 will increase by 0.5 percentage points". Version C shows the higher level 1 and 2 rates without that sentence. We don't know which customers received which version, so check your own contractual terms.
OrderYOYO's product page says you "pay commission as low as 6% per order". In the UK table, 6% is the level 4 rate for orders placed through your Google Business Profile.
One question the notice doesn't answer is whether a week's level rate applies to all of that week's turnover or only to the part that falls within each band. It says OrderYOYO calculates this weekly, "ensuring you always pay the lowest possible rate". Ask for a worked example on your own figures.
Other charges in OrderYOYO's documents
| Charge | What OrderYOYO's documents say | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Customer service fee | Increased to £0.75 per order for consumers ordering through your website and app, from April 2025 (7 April in the UK fee notice; 14 April in the UK and Ireland service-fee notice). OrderYOYO says this "will NOT impact your restaurant". | Fee notices |
| Set-up fee | "OrderYOYO will invoice the agreed set-up fee as set out in the Contractual Terms" | UK terms, clause 5.3 |
| Handling fee | Invoiced to the customer on each order, and "included in the Customer's turnover when calculating the Commission" | UK terms, clause 5.5 |
| Marketing extras | Ancillary services, such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads, are invoiced separately. The fee notice cut the minimum weekly Google Ads spend from £25 to £12.50. | UK terms, clause 5.6; fee notice |
| Card fees on online orders | The product page lists "All card transaction fees" among the things the price includes | Product page |
| YOYOPay | OrderYOYO's own payment product, described in the 2025 notice as having "a low transaction fee of just 0.99% per order" | Fee notice |
| Printer | May be lent for a three-month run-in. After that, unless agreed otherwise in writing, you must buy it, and OrderYOYO may set the cost off against your payouts. | UK terms, clause 9 |
| Chargebacks | The restaurant pays the chargeback amount and administrative fees, deducted from revenue | UK terms, clauses 5.9 and 5.10 |
The product page also lists what the commission covers: hosting of the website and app, customer support, updates, "ongoing online advertising", a start-up marketing pack, card transaction fees and app push notifications.
What "turnover" includes
This matters as much as the percentage. Clause 5.4 of the UK terms says commission is an agreed share of total turnover from orders "including cash, card payments or any other payments". It includes orders you rejected (clause 5.11), "as well as the handling fees and delivery fees, as applicable".
So the base for commission isn't just the food. If a customer pays £20 for food, a delivery charge and the £0.75 service fee, the commission is worked out on the whole amount. Fees are deducted each week before the rest of the revenue is paid to you (clause 5.8).
Worked examples (commission only)
These apply the published level rates to example weekly turnovers, assuming the level rate applies to the whole week. Months are weeks × 52 ÷ 12. They're illustrations, not quotes. Set-up, printer, marketing extras and VAT treatment aren't included.
| Weekly website and app turnover | Level | Commission per week | Commission per month (approx.) |
|---|---|---|---|
| £400 | 1 | £42 (10.5%) or £44 (11%) | £182 – £191 |
| £1,000 | 2 | £95 (9.5%) or £100 (10%) | £412 – £433 |
| £1,800 | 3 | £144 (8%) | £624 |
| £3,000 | 4 | £210 (7%) | £910 |
Orders through your Google Business Profile would be one point lower. Remember that turnover includes delivery charges and the customer fee, so the real base is a little higher than your food sales. At 50 orders a week, the £0.75 fee alone adds £37.50 to turnover.
For comparison: Chefzi at £1,000 a week. Chefzi charges no commission. After the free period, it's £29 a month for online card payments through Stripe, excluding VAT. At an average order of £20, that's 50 orders a week. Stripe's published UK rates are 1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards and 2.8% + 20p for premium UK cards. That makes card fees about £25 to £38 a week, or roughly £108 to £165 a month, depending on the card mix. With the £29 fee, the total is roughly £137 to £194 a month. On the £19 plan (cash or no-card ordering), there are no card fees at all.
This isn't like for like. OrderYOYO's commission includes a branded app, ongoing advertising and card fees. Chefzi doesn't include a customer app or done-for-you advertising in the monthly fee. You send your own email and SMS campaigns. Paid ads are separate. Put your own numbers into the commission calculator to compare a percentage with a flat fee.
OrderYOYO's contract terms
From the UK terms PDF on orderyoyo.com (uploaded April 2023). Your signed contract may differ.
- Minimum term (14.1): the contract "cannot be terminated by either party during the first 12 months after the Commencement Date".
- Not online for 10 of the first 12 months (14.1): if that's due to the restaurant, OrderYOYO can invoice its unavoidable set-up costs, "at least" £600.
- Leaving after year one (14.2.1): written notice, taking effect three months from the end of the month you give it. Notice given on 10 March ends the contract at the end of June.
- OrderYOYO leaving (14.2.2): OrderYOYO can end the contract on one month's written notice.
- Commission level (5.2): you start at the level in your contractual terms. After that, the level is set by each location's turnover.
What to ask OrderYOYO before you sign
- Which level rates apply to you (version A or C, or something else)?
- Is the level rate applied to the whole week or band by band?
- What's the set-up fee?
- Do you lend the printer, and what does it cost to buy after three months?
- What's the minimum spend on Google Ads and Facebook Ads, and can you cancel them separately?
- What happens to your website address, app and customer list if you leave?
- Can you export your customer list, and with what marketing permissions?
Is OrderYOYO good value?
It depends on whether you'll use what the percentage pays for. If you want a branded app, someone else running your Google and Facebook ads, and one weekly invoice that already includes card fees, a percentage can make sense, especially while turnover is low.
The trade-off shows as turnover grows. Commission rises with every order, including cash orders and orders from regulars who would have ordered anyway. In the £1,000-a-week example, the monthly commission is more than twice a flat-fee platform's subscription and card fees combined.

Yes. OrderYOYO's 2025 notices say the service fee for consumers ordering through your website and app went up to £0.75 per order. OrderYOYO says this is not an extra cost to the restaurant, but its UK terms include the handling fee in the turnover that commission is calculated on.

How long is an OrderYOYO contract?

Does OrderYOYO charge a set-up fee?
The UK terms say OrderYOYO will invoice the agreed set-up fee at or shortly after the commencement date. The amount is not published, so ask for it in writing.
What does Chefzi cost instead?
