Deliveroo Partner Hub: a guide for restaurants
By Arslan Munir
Chefzi is not affiliated with Deliveroo. Menus and screens in the Hub change; check the Hub itself for current details.
How to log in to the Deliveroo Partner Hub
Go to Deliveroo's official restaurant sign-in page. Search "Deliveroo Partner Hub login" and check the address is on deliveroo.co.uk before you type anything. Sign in with the email that Deliveroo has for your restaurant. If you've forgotten your password, use the reset link on the sign-in page.
Security tips: use a different password for each site, turn on any extra sign-in check Deliveroo offers, and give staff their own logins where the Hub allows it rather than sharing the owner's.
What to check in the Hub every week
- Orders and refunds. Look for refunds or partial refunds you didn't expect, and check whether each one was for missing items, a late order or a quality complaint. Patterns tell you where the kitchen or packing goes wrong.
- Menu and prices. Make sure marketplace prices, items and extras are right. If you charge more on the app than in the shop, say so clearly where the rules allow it, and keep it consistent.
- Opening hours and busy mode. Wrong hours lead to cancelled orders, and cancellations can hurt your visibility on the app.
- Ratings and comments. Read the low ratings first. Fix the cause, such as cold chips, missing sauces or slow pick-ups, not the review.
What your Deliveroo statement really costs you
For the full breakdown see Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats commission in the UK, and put your own figures into the commission calculator. Use your own invoice, not an average from the internet.
Using Deliveroo without relying on it
Deliveroo is good at one thing: putting you in front of people who've never heard of you. The trouble starts when your regulars keep ordering through the app too, because then you pay commission on customers you already won. A simple split works for many independents:
- Deliveroo for discovery.
- Your own ordering page for repeat orders. Put the link on your Google listing (how), your Instagram bio, and a card or sticker in the bag (within the app's packaging rules).
See how to move customers from Just Eat to your website, which works the same way for Deliveroo, and how to reduce delivery app commission. If you are weighing up leaving altogether, read the Deliveroo alternative page. Also listed on Just Eat? See our Just Eat Partner Centre guide.
Where Chefzi fits
Chefzi is your own restaurant online ordering system, with 0% commission ever. It's £39 a month per location billed annually (£49 if billed monthly), with your own domain and your own branded app (Android & iOS) included. Prices are per location and exclude VAT. Orders arrive in the Chefzi app on a phone or tablet you already have, and it rings until someone answers. Chefzi doesn't connect to Deliveroo and doesn't pull Deliveroo orders in. They're separate channels, and orders placed on Deliveroo still pay Deliveroo's commission. Delivery through your own page uses your own drivers. Start with the free online ordering system.
A weekly 15-minute routine
- Wednesday: read the ratings and fix one recurring problem.
- Friday before service: check hours, sold-out items and prices.
- Every week: count how many orders came through your own page compared with the app. Aim to move that number up over time.
